Attorney Bio

AboutRenee Michalow has been a licensed attorney in Minnesota since 1996. After receiving her Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law, she worked with the Honorable Mary Carlson in Washington County District Court, where she was involved with preparing and reviewing legal court documents in family law matters, and other civil and criminal proceedings. Ms. Michalow next spent five years working with judges at the Minnesota State Court of Appeals, where she became proficient at evaluating appeals and writing for the Court. She has also worked in a large Minneapolis law firm where she advocated on behalf of clients, and taught as an Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell College of Law for approximately ten years. She has worked as a Family Law Mediator. Her current practice consists primarily of defending parents in child protection and termination of parental rights proceedings.
